Taking Grandma On A Well Deserved Vacation To Cape Town
Who said old ladies can't travel and enjoy life after retirement? My parents passed away when I was very small and I was raised alone by my grandmother, Selma.
Oh, did that lady do a great job! She worked hard and looked after me, making sure I always had food in my stomach, clothes to keep me warm and providing a roof and an education for me.
I swore I would pay her back for all her sacrifices one day, and after she finally retired, I decided to take her on a trip to South Africa, the land of her ancestors!nWe visited many different parts of this beautiful country, but our favorite had to be Cape Town! This is in part due to the wonderful hotel in which we stayed called The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa. The views were breath taking, the accommodations were so elegant and sophisticated and my granny even had the chance to mingle with many other old ladies that were enjoying their leisure time now that they no longer need to worry about work and raising kids, God bless them!
